Our Work
Every programme below exists because a real household needed exactly that. Here’s how each one works.

Household Stability
The basics that make everything else possible. Many of the elders we support live in households with almost nothing — no mattress, no proper bedding, no reliable food source, sometimes not even basic cooking utensils. This programme provides exactly that: mattresses, blankets, bedsheets, food supplies, and cooking utensils, delivered directly to households identified through our outreach visits. It’s deliberately unglamorous work, but it’s often the difference between an elder sleeping on a bare floor and sleeping with dignity. Household Stability visits are frequently the first contact point before other programmes — like Elder Health & Home Care — can meaningfully follow up, because it’s hard to focus on anyone’s health when they don’t have a place to rest properly.

Children & dependents
Elders are often raising children too — grandchildren, orphaned relatives, or children of their own who never left. This programme exists because those children’s needs don’t stop just because the household is elder-headed. We provide education subsidies (covering books, pens, uniforms, and shoes where needed) so a child’s schooling isn’t interrupted by their guardian’s circumstances, alongside caregiver support for the elders raising them. In several of the households we’ve visited, an elder in their 80s, 90s, or older is the sole provider for young children — this programme is our way of making sure that responsibility doesn’t fall entirely on someone who is themselves in need of care.
